Our turn of the century cottage within 300 metres of Martinborough Square offers stylish decor with clean comfortable period furniture and fittings guaranteeing you a relaxing and private retreat.

Vistas of Oak Park out of the front windows and a large section out of the back windows ensure you will experience the country yet be within 5 minutes stroll of the cafes, galleries, crafts, vineyards and winebars that have made Martinborough one of New Zealand's most enjoyable places to visit.

Hollyhocks Cottage has polished floors, pot belly fire, "galley" kitchen, deep bath and a wide verandah. French doors provide a wonderful indoor/outdoor flow to a deck and a quality BBQ which overlook the back yard. Behind the back fence is the Martinborough Lawn Tennis Club for which a courtesy family membership and racquets are provided for Hollyhocks' guests during their stay. Petanque boules are available as well. For the less active there is Sky Digital Television, a DVD player with a great selection of DVD movies, stereo/radio, deck chairs and reading material.

Our cottage comfortably sleeps four in two bedrooms with a sofa bed and divan for extra's. Continental breakfast and a complementary bottle of local martinborough wine is provided for guests. Fireguard, high chair and portable cot are available on request.
